How to Boost our Immunity?

In my previous post, I explained, in the simplest manner, how our immune system works.

There are numerous ways to boost or enhance our immune system. Living a healthy lifestyle is the most direct and simple way to calibrate our bodies.

A healthy body can obviously resist the invasion of pathogens more effectively than a diseased or less healthy body. We can boost our immunity beyond our healthy levels by increasing intakes of specific bioactives, like vitamins C1 and D1, and polyphenols2 that can regulate and boost the human immune system. 

 

I have been talking about polyphenols in a few of my posts. What exactly are polyphenols? I will tell you more about them in my coming posts.
