How much polyphenols are adequate for Health Promotion?

Are the amounts of polyphenols in our diet sufficient to promote and maintain good health? My answer is NO.

As polyphenols are naturally present in only fruits and vegetables, we derive them from our fruit and vegetable intake. Even if we achieve the recommended four daily servings of fruits and vegetables, the amounts of polyphenols derived from these four daily servings fall short of attaining the health-promoting property of these bioactive.

Over the past twenty years, pharmacological results suggest that the doses of polyphenols required to achieve their intended bioactivity are at least 100 folds higher than their levels present in fruits and vegetables1. Unless you want to ingest more than 100 servings of fruits and vegetables every day, we need to look for other ways to increase our polyphenol intake.

Nutrixin’s range of polyphenol-rich products is scientifically proven to deliver the optimal daily amounts of polyphenols for health promotion.
